Struggling with Spelling?

If your child is struggling with spelling, there is a great website that can help! It's called, "SpellingCity" and it's amazing! If your child has spelling tests, you can input their words and a variety of activities will be created. First, you'll register for the FREE program. Next, you'll type in the spelling words. (I used 20 words.) After you've typed in the words, you'll have 3 different options. You may want to press, "Teach Me". This link will show you the word, give you each letter and pronounce it. Next try, "Play a Game". If you'll click on the "Spelling" tab, you'll see a variety of games. Some are played online, others are printed. Finally, a Spelling Test can be administered. Click on the, "Test Me" button. You'll see a screen with blanks. Press, "Say It" and "Sentence" to give the first word and a sentence used with the word. After the words are typed into the list, they can be checked and printed out. There are so many different ways to use this program, play around with it and see what all you can do!
